This is a list of resources I have used as I research for the book I am working on. I will continue to add to it as I am able. The list is organized by the source of content. If you have any recommendations, please send them to us through the ‘Contact’ page. Some of the books listed may be found in your local library, but most of the explicitly Catholic books you may want to borrow from a friend or order for yourselves. Of course, Sacred Scripture is another invaluable research for deepening our understanding and appreciation of this way of living.
An extensive amount of research has been done through the internet, piecing together bits of information, sifting to find what seems to be well-founded, and unfortunately, I have lost track of many of them. Many of the posts on the blog have links to sources, though, so pay attention to the links if you want to learn more!
(I don’t necessarily do or agree with absolutely everything shared in each book or on each website, but these have been helpful sources of information in my research.)
